About these terms

These terms apply when you use Verticodes, a service that converts a betting booking code from one bookmaker into a matching code on another. By using the website or creating an account, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Who can use Verticodes

You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to bet where you live. Verticodes is not for anyone under 18.

Betting laws differ between states and countries. You are responsible for making sure that using a bookmaker, and using Verticodes with it, is lawful where you are.

What the service does

You enter a booking code and choose a source and a destination bookmaker. Verticodes reads the selections on the source slip, matches them to the destination bookmaker, and returns a new booking code where it can.

Verticodes never places a bet, never holds your money, and never asks for your bookmaker login. You place any bet yourself, with the bookmaker.

Verticodes is independent. It is not owned by, endorsed by, or partnered with any bookmaker. Bookmaker names are used only to say which service a code belongs to.

Conversions can be partial or fail

A match, market or price may not exist at the destination bookmaker. When that happens we skip the selection instead of guessing, so a converted slip can have fewer selections than the original. Odds and availability change, and a bookmaker can change or block its systems at any time.

Always check the converted slip on the destination bookmaker before you place a bet. We do not guarantee that a conversion will succeed, be complete, or carry the same odds.

Your account

You can use some features without an account, within limits. Creating an account needs a valid email address, or a Google sign-in. Keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under it.

Free use, plans and payment

Verticodes has a free tier with a daily allowance of conversions, and paid plans with larger allowances. Each conversion uses one unit of your allowance. If a conversion fails on our side, the unit is returned. The current allowances and prices are shown on the pricing page and may change.

Paid plans are charged in naira through our payment providers. We do not see or store your full card details. Unless a plan page says otherwise, a plan renews at the end of each period until you cancel renewal in your account, and cancelling stops future charges without refunding the current period. Where the law gives you a right to a refund, that right is not affected.

Acceptable use

Please do not use Verticodes to break the law, to attack or overload the service or any bookmaker, to bypass allowances or rate limits, to scrape or resell the service without our written agreement, or to give false or abusive input. We can limit or suspend access when someone does.

A shared slip link is a snapshot of a code at the moment it was created. Do not use a link to advertise a scam, to collect contact details, or to present a slip as a verified or winning record. To ask for a link to be taken down, write to support@verticodes.com.

No betting advice, and responsible betting

Verticodes is a tool. Nothing in it is betting advice, a tip, or a promise of any result. Betting carries a risk of loss, and you should only stake what you can afford to lose. If betting is a problem for you or someone close to you, please stop and ask for help from a local support service.

Availability and our responsibility

We work to keep the service running, but we provide it as it is, without a promise that it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using a converted code, including lost bets, missed odds, a bookmaker's decision, or downtime. Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and ending use

We may update these terms as the service changes. When we make a significant change we will update the date at the top of this page. Using Verticodes after a change means you accept the new terms. You can stop using the service and ask us to close your account at any time.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
